Assisting Families

ASSISTANCE TO LOW INCOME CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.

This part of the project consists of assisting of low income, poverty immersed families to meet their basic necessities. Ongoing assessment is conducted to determine areas of need with which PROMESA can help (e.g., food, clothes, diapers for their children). It is our goal that the number of families participating in the program gradually increases as allowed by fund availability. Living in extreme poverty conditions will be deemed essential for program participation. Participants will also be provided with monthly groceries to help them out with their economic needs while they remain in training. Additionally, when the training program is completed, graduationg participants will be awarded with tools and basic equipment they will need to start working. The ultimate goal is to help these families with a skills trade that empowers them to be enventually able to provide for their family basis needs on their own.
