HOW YOU CAN HELP

Project PROMESA is currently seeking charitable donations with which to assist poor children in meeting their basic needs as well as to purchase tables, chairs, school materials, computers, workshop supplies (e.g., sewing machines) and other necessities to complete our capacity building effort.

To express our gratitude for those that donate to this effort, PROMESA will send an official certificate of appreciation  at the end of the year signed by the president, vice-president and treasurer of our board of directors. Project PROMESA understands that there is an economic hierarchy in every country in the world and some are able to contribute more than others, although each is equally important and appreciated. To facilitate the donation process, project PROMESA members have implemented three separate categories of support and each level has its own purpose for the donations received.  Let us consider each in turn.

CHILD SPONSORSHIP
To sponsor a child from México directly simply click the first button in the DONATION OPTIONS page.  To sponsor a child from Ecuador click the second button in the DONATION OPTIONS page.  Your contribution will serve to benefit a child directly by providing for a basic (e.g, food, clothes) or educational (e.g., notebooks, backpacks) needs directly.  If you wish, you can also send us an e-mail notifying us what is your helping preference (e.g., food, clothes, educational needs). 

PROJECT SPONSORSHIP
For those wishing to sponsor the project as a whole, your contributions are very welcomed.  We are still in the process of developing our infrastructure efforts (e.g., buying materials needed to train participating mothers in a particular skill such as sewing, hair stylist or fix the orphanage’s roof). Major donors will receive a plaque honoring their contribution towards making project PROMESA possible. The plaque will be accompanied by a letter from the president congratulating you for your humanitarian effort to make our project a reality.
